Top Senate Democrat Chuck Schumer now obstructed an amendment by Senator Tom Cotton to oppose the most up-to-date motion of the left to’defund the police’
The radical Democrat foundation is currently pushing into defund the police in a number of cities.
The party has gone totally insane.
The New York Post reported:
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer opted to block a resolution by a GOP senator that could oppose defunding the police — despite the movement calling for”justice for George Floyd,” because it didn’t do anything.
, called for just two simple things:”justice for George Floyd” and also to oppose”efforts to defund the police”
The Arkansas Republican wrote in the movement that the murder of George Floyd,”was also a horrific action that violated the public trust and has been inconsistent with the rules and conduct expected of law enforcement officers.”
He went on to remember that”great law enforcement can’t exist without accountability and justice,” a indication of openness to talks about police reform and responsibility without discussion of defunding.
Cotton asked the Senate on Wednesday to pass the motion by unanimous approval a movement which means it could be blocked by a senator.
In cases like this, it was Schumer (D-NY) who compared Cotton’s movement, arguing that the movement was nothing more than rhetoric.
