Police Arrest Two Suspects After Weekend Kidnapping, Sexual Assault

Police arrested two suspects June 9 that allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman in Huntington Beach, Calif.   The victim was forcibly kidnapped and sexually assaulted June 6 by two men in the city’s downtown area, according to Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD) and was later dropped off on Pacific Coast Highway, where a motorist spotted her and contacted authorities.   During the attack, she sustained numerous injuries and had to be transported to a local hospital; she has since been released.  Asked where specifically the unnamed victim was kidnapped from, HBPD spokesperson Jennifer Carey said the department is only identifying the general downtown area for now because they are still hoping for more witnesses to come forward.
