Joe Biden sat in an interview with Jake Tapper from CNN on Wednesday.
During the meeting Joe Biden tried to attack Trump on the deal, began rambling about something nonsensical and finally agreed that the USMCA was a better deal for American employees.
Joe Biden: No, remember he is not the one who pushed that particular one previously. The House amended the bill… By the way it’s a big deal though. Here is what they amended… He was providing Pharma a way out. Giving them a massive break like he is doing , together with Pharma. They’re building plants abroad and receiving tax breaks because of it. That is exactly what it was about with him.
Jake Tapper: (Looks annoyed) He renegotiated NAFTA and you did not is the stage.
Joe Biden: Since was had a Republican congress which would not go with us… negotiated.
Jake Tapper: But doesn’t he deserve some credit for it? It’s better. The USMCA is Much Better compared to NAFTA.
