The police chief scheduled a meeting for Monday with the officers who dared to hear their concerns.
In a memo, that the SWAT officers stated along with being minimally equipped and under trained, they were outraged to see the police chief kneeling with activists.
“The team is minimally equipped, under trained and regularly times restrained by the politicization of the approaches to the extent of putting safety of dogs within the security of the team members,” the officials wrote.

“Finally, and most surprisingly, with members of the Control Staff taking a knee at solidarity with Vice-Mayor Javellana (who said she wants the officers”fired and charged”) plus a handful of political activists…” the officers wrote in a memo.

The 10 members of the Hallandale Beach Police Department’s SWAT team have stepped down from their roles, mentioning anger across the town’s police chief kneeling with protesters this weekread. They will remain with the police division.
On Friday evening, Hallandale Beach received a memo with a list of grievances by the SWAT team’s members, Hallandale Beach City Manager Greg Chavarria stated.
At the memo, that the officers say the SWAT team was minimally equipped, under restrained and educated. The memo says the protection of dogs was given priority over the protection of the officers.
“The chance of carrying out our duties in this capacity is no longer acceptable for us and our families,” the memo says. “The anguish and anxiety of knowing that what we could be lawfully called upon to perform in today’s political climate along with the team’s current situation and many recent local events.that leaves us at a position that’s untenable.”

According to the Miami Herald officers from local police agencies will fill in to help Hallandale Beach.
This is only the beginning. A growing number of police officers will resign and cities will crumble under violence and insanity.
