“The president’s plan to hold mass rallies in Florida and everywhere as we encounter a resurgence at COVID cases is irresponsible and selfish,” Rep. Val Demings stated on Thursday.
But on Monday, Demings, a Florida Democrat climbing up at the Joe Biden veepstakes, attended a gigantic”Healing and Hope” rally, at which individuals were packed in like sardines. She told her Twitter followers she had been there”to talk with our community since America grieves.”
Demings was not alone at flip-flopping for political motives. Loads of high Democrats cheered on”Black Lives Issue” audiences across the U.S., with many attending rallies in honour of George Floyd, a black man who died while in the custody of Minneapolis authorities. They mingled with maskless protesters, shaking hands and kissing babies.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, a socialist from Vermont who failed another time to win the Democratic Party presidential nomination, wrote Monday about Twitter:”Congratulations to all who are out on the roads today peacefully protesting. We will end police brutality. We will conquer Trump. Together, we will fight for a government based on justice and compassion, not lies and greed.”

But by Thursday, Sanders sang another song, singling out Trump along with the Republicans’ decision to maintain its nominating convention in Florida.
“Trump desires 15,000 delegates cheering him at his GOP conference in Florida,” Sanders explained. “No social interaction. His rejection of advice endangers those there but people who they come in contact with. Trump’s a hazard to the country’s wellbeing and well-being. He must be defeated.”
Demings, also, whined to go to Florida. “Regrettably, Florida is experiencing a new surge in COVID-19 cases. I urge you to do whatever that you can to protect your neighbours along with yourself. Put on a mask. Limit gatherings,” she wrote.
But naturally, nothing Democrats ever say applies to them.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, whose catastrophic policies killed thousands in his state, also applauded protesters since they crushed through New York City, looting store and clashing with police trying to preserve order.
Cuomo said he”stands” with all those defying stay-at-home orders to protest:”nobody is sanctioning the arson, as well as the thuggery along with the burglaries, but the protesters and the anger and the fear and the frustration? Yes. Yes, and also the demand is for justice.”
Weeks before this, as millions across the country were losing their jobs, Cuomo advised protesters demanding the nation reopen:”You’ve no right to jeopardize my health… and my children’s health and your children’s health.”
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti jeopardized in March to turn utilities off for any business that reopened, stating he wished to punish”irresponsible and selfish” conduct.
He then turned around and supported the protests.
“I will always shield Angelenos’ right to make their voices heard — and we can direct the movement against racism with no fear of violence or vandalism,” he explained.
And Washington, D.C.,” Mayor Muriel Bowser, that threatened to fine suspend violators with $5,000 penalties or 90 days in prison, sang another tune with tens of thousands of protesters rioted from the nation’s capital, defacing memorials and monuments along with torching a historical church.
“We’re grieving hundreds of years of institutional racism,” she explained. “People are very tired, sad, angry and desperate for change.”
