On March 13, 2020, Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer ordered the closing of all K-12 schools at the state of Michigan over fears of the spread of Their Wuhan coronavirus.
On March 16, Governor Whitmer issued an order to close restaurants dine-in and all bars, health clubs, coffee houses, and most places. On March 23, Governor Whitmer issued a statewide stay-at-home order for three weeks for most workers. On April 9, the order was expanded by Michigan’s governor through April 30th. The brand new executive order of whitmer contained banning the sale of all items such as most of home improvement and garden items. She also banned the use of boats with motors but enabled citizens to utilize sailboats, paddleboats, kayaks, and rowboats. Michiganders were stunned when they heard about her brand new draconian executive arrangement that included prohibiting Michigan residents from traveling to their private vacation homes in Michigan.
Yesterday, over 10,000 vehicles traveled to Lansing, MI to protest the governor measures. A number of the protesters were fed up over the control she’s taken over their own lives, which are ruining Michigan companies and putting millions of taxpayers from work. The demonstration, organized by Michigan Conservative Coalition, was a massive success.
Instead of addressing the concerns of the thousands of citizens protesting her approach to integrating the spread of coronavirus, Governor Whitmer accused of being reckless, the protesters. Whitmer focused on the group of people standing in the front of the Capitol building, implying they might have been dispersing the coronavirus. Whitmer threatened the actions of the protester may induce her to extend the lockdown and took it a step further.
Four Michigan Sheriffs from northern Michigan counties that were various that have popular vacation destinations for Michiganders, Now, issued a statement, warning that they won’t enforce Governor Whitmer’s confusing and orders.

“We write now to alert the people for our respective counties of our resistance to a number of Governor Whitmer’s executive orders,” the sheriffs said in a media release.
“While we understand her desire to protect the general public, we wonder some constraints she has levied as overstepping her authority,” the sheriffs wrote. “She has created a vague frame of emergency legislation that just confuse Michigan taxpayers”
The sheriffs said they will instead”deal with each case as a single situation and apply common sense.”
“Each of us took an oath to uphold and protect the Michigan Constitution, in addition to the US Constitution, and to make sure your God-given rights are not violated,” the statement reads.
In addition, we need to be aware that this virus is deadly and that we need to keep to practice social distancing, washing of hands, wearing of masks in addition to other clinically recommended measures,” they said.
“Collectively, as a community, we will overcome this pandemic, and as Americans, we will persevere and emerge stronger than before. As sheriffs of your community, we would like you to know we’ve got your back and will continue to serve the men and women who have entrusted us with your security.”
