Bill BarrUS Attorney General Bill Barr on Monday issued a 2-page memo ordering US Lawyers to be on the”lookout” for state and local directives that may be violating the constitutional rights and civil liberties of individual citizens amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
Local and state government officials have issued unconstitutional lockdown orders in reaction to this Coronavirus outbreak and however much information is released revealing the virus has a low mortality rate, restrictions are not being loosened by the tyrants.
“Since the Department of Justice explained lately in advice to states and localities taking measures to battle the pandemic, even in times of emergency, when reasonable and temporary limitations are placed on rights, the First Amendment and national statutory law prohibit discrimination against religious institutions and spiritual leaders,” Barr wrote.
“For instance, the Constitution also forbids, in certain circumstances, discrimination against disfavored speech and undue interference with the national economy,” Barr wrote. “If a local or state ordinance crosses the line by an appropriate exercise of ability to block the spread of COVID-19 into an overbearing breach of legal and constitutional protections, the Department of Justice may have an obligation to deal with this overreach in federal court.”

Barr called out while permitting citizens to attend nearby restaurants, the government officials in Mississippi who singled out churchgoers also published a statement of attention.
Barr said the government”could not impose special restrictions on religious action that don’t also apply to identical non-religious activity.”
