P.S. Wondering what makes these wines”intense elevation” rather than, say,”large” elevation? Well, higher elevation wines may more or less be in any altitude. There are 4,000 ft altitude wines which call “high elevation.”
“Intense elevation” wines, on the other hand, generally have grapes from over 6,500 ft. elevation. In fact, the wines I am talking about here have ribbons from 8,000 ft. Up in the elevation, the grapes change in a way which make resulting wines very concentrated in some specific flavors and nutrients. It’s a consequence you can’t replicate everywhere else.
